San Choy Bao
INGREDIENTS
1 head of iceberg lettuce
500grams pork mince
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp grated ginger
2 cloves of crushed garlic
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp kepap manis
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 small tin of water chestnuts
3 stalks of spring onion
1 bunch of coriander
1 fresh red chilli
1 lime
1 packet of Caravan Foods Amazing Asian
METHOD
Heat sesame oil in a pan on medium/high heat.
Add your pork mince and cook until browned.
Add in the oyster sauce, soy sauce, kepap manis, minced garlic, grated ginger, thinly sliced spring onions and water chestnuts, chopped coriander and chillies, and saute until pork is cooked through. Remove and place into a bowl.
Wash and separate your lettuce leaves to form your “bowl” for the mince filling.
To assemble, take a lettuce leaf, add a generous helping of the mince filling and a sprinkle of our Caravan Foods Amazing Asian Salad Topper!
